Manj is a recognised international expert in venous disease and has been involved in important clinical research and treatment of complex venous conditions for 20 years. He is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, working at Cambridge University Hospitals (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) and is the lead for venous treatments. He also holds honorary academic positions at Imperial College London and Cambridge University.
In addition to a busy clinical practice, and ongoing research projects, he is heavily involved in training and education. He has chaired important international venous guideline documents to promote high-quality evidence-based care.
He is the current President of the Royal Society of Medicine Venous Forum, executive board member of the European College of Phlebology, Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery, member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
