Nicholas Zakikhani

BSc, MSc, AVS

Nicholas has completed MScs in Cardiovascular Science, Vascular Science and Healthcare Leadership and is currently a deputy manager and Senior Clinical Vascular Scientist at St George’s hospital in London. He is also an accredited Vascular Scientist through the Society of Vascular Technology (SVT).

Nicholas’ experience in vascular ultrasound ranges from the imaging of varicose veins to assisting Vascular Surgeons in the treatment of complex vascular disease in surgical theatres. He has a keen interest in patient engagement and is currently involved in research which is assessing the redesign of patient pathways to facilitate patient centredness following the Covid-19 pandemic.
